Empowering LIfe changes through Christ

The gathering of the entire congregation is a very important part of our spiritual lives. At First Christian Church we strive to create an atmosphere of worship that inspires creativity and passionate worship of God.

On Sunday mornings we have four worship services:

8:30 AM — Worship in the Chapel
A meditative service with hymns, organ and communion in the quiet intimacy of our beautiful chapel.

10:45 AM — Worship in the Sanctuary
A classic service featuring our Sanctuary Choir, Holy Communion, congregational singing and our 3,800 pipe organ—all in the transcendent beauty of our sanctuary under the stained glass dome.

10:50 AM — Common Ground
A new service in a casual environment located in fellowship hall featuring a live band, the teaching of God’s Word, open communion, and fellowship with doughnuts and coffee. Come find a place to belong on Common Ground!

6:00 P.M. — The Loft
A contemplative service in a relaxed environment with music, prayer and communion. This service meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays in the north end of the Youth Room on the 4th floor.

In addition we traditionally have many special worship services during the year, like a Hanging of the Greens during advent, and Candellight Christmas Eve services, as well as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and Easter.
